DCist takes note<\/a> of Matt Yglesias’ tweet<\/a> on the New York Times’ fantastic interactive map<\/a> of various metropolitan areas, broken down by zip codes and how popular each of Netflix’s top 50 rentals of 2009 was in those areas.<\/p>\n

The geographic patterns are fascinating, and quite revealing about the social and economic geography of the DC area.<\/p>\n
